New Glasses, New Outlook This past week I got a haircut and a new pair of glasses. To be honest, I have never felt better. Even though it seemed like a trip to hell and back this past semester, I have to say that I am in a good place. As much as I whine, complain, and bitch about how hard things get, I really do love everything that is going on in my life. I figure that if I am bitching so much, it actually translates to this bittersweet love affair of being a young adult. Growing up is so much about give-and-take, and trying to figure out what is more important. Looking forward, I have so much that I want to accomplish, yet I know that I need to do more work on myself first. There are so many things I could be, or could be doing, that instead of actually putting the effort into it, I am letting opportunities slip on by.
