To Whom This May Concern,
With all the hype surrounding Rihanna’s new album LOUD, I was almost convinced to convert to the Church of Riri. However, once I heard the entire album, I was less than motivated to convert.
Her two singles, Only Girl and What’s My Name were gold. The song Who’s That Chick produced by David Guertta, amazing. This time around, I was really feeling the techno-euro genre she was taping into. For her to make that transition was really a smart move considering that her image itself evolved into this fresh, whimsical character, post-dark rihanna.
Yet, once I finally downloaded this album, I was left hanging. Of the 11 songs on her album, I only liked the three that I already heard. Sure Love the Way You Lie Part II was nice, but its been done already. If anything, an album full of fillers is not cool. To put that much effort in 3 songs and not deliver on the rest seems such a waste.
With that said, I really cannot stand it when artists can be such let downs. Rihanna’s LOUD seemed so promising.
Sincerely,
Patrick

Complicated is alright, but its a downer.
