Letters addressed to the inanimate, tangible, and heartfelt. Along with having letters, I will include commentary on music, travel, food, and fashion. This is IAMPOSTSCRIPT. It's more than just letters, instead a lifestyle

Thanks

To Whom This May Concern,

Thanks for reading this Tumblr. To this day, I’m still surprised that people follow and read the content. Over the course of the past year or so, the vision behind iampostscript has definitely changed. I went from literally writing letters to inanimate objects (crazy talk), to broadening my field of vision by writing about other, if not more, miscellaneous crap. But hey, its good crap, right?

Anyways, aside from using Tumblr as really great blogging platform, I consider this to be a really great writing exercise! Blogging for me is a great way to keep my writing in check. Although the use of print is dying, and the rise of blogging has almost lynched many journalists, I would like to think that there is still hope for the art of reporting and journalism. Instead of typecasting as most bloggers as unworthy, misinformed writers, I want to say that there are a handful who actually know what they write about. With that said, blogging does help keep the news circulation and reporting style going.

I would hope there is still a demand for journalism students in a world dominated by 5 star food critics on Yelp, fashion writers on Refinery 29, and photojournalists on Flickr. No offense to the professional. You guys make good stuff.

Well, enough of this ramble. Enjoy indulging in your Stovetop mash potatoes mix and store basted turkey. Lets not forget the Sparkling Apple Cider that is supposed to be the nonalcoholic beverage for the day. I’ll be definitely raising my glass tonight.
